1923-2003Natural de Cleveland, Peter Tewksbury es, sobre todo, director de te levision, con un total de cinco largometrajes en su haber, rodados entre 1963 y 1969. Director ni fe cundo ni destacado, firma un western a la medida de Elvis Presley, que no fue la unica vez que se vio in merso en el genero. En esta ocasion, desde luego, con poca fortuna salvo, tal vez, para los incondicionales del idolo musical. Tewksbury dirigio en otra ocasion a Elvis; precisamente las dos ultimas peliculas del realizador fueron las que hizo con el. Cuando abandona el cine se dedica a una actividad cuanto menos curiosa para un hombre procedente del mundo de la imagen: dirige el departamento de quesos del Brattleboro Food Coop.
